A note on terminology. FedRAMP’s Consolidated Rules for 2026 renamed “Authorization” to “Certification” and replaced impact levels with certification classes — Class B for Low, Class C for Moderate, Class D for High. Enforcement begins 1 January 2027, and existing authorizations remain valid through the transition. Both terms are shown together below, as the Marketplace itself now does.
What a row covers. FedRAMP certifies a named cloud service offering, not a company. A vendor listed as Certified below usually holds that certification for a specific government edition of its product — its commercial service is a separate offering and is not covered by it. Open a vendor’s report to see which offering was certified and under which package.
